ইহা বাস্তব যেকোন পুলিশ অফিসারকে যেই বিভাগীয় শাস্তি প্রদান করা হইয়াছে তাহা সেই সময়ে বলবত অন্য যেকোন আইনের আওতায় তাহার বিরুদ্ধে আনীত অভিযোগ ও শাস্তি সংক্রান্ত দায়ের প্রতি প্রভাব ফেলবে না। 862. The fact that any departmental punishment has been awarded to a police officer, shall not affect his liability to prosecution and punishment under any law for the time being in force.
